Valet Trash Resident Guide

Best Practices for Residents

Welcome to Xelda Company’s Valet Trash Service! We are thrilled to provide you with a convenient and reliable way to manage your waste. To ensure that you get the full benefit of our service and keep your community clean and beautiful, please follow these best practices.

1. Understand the Service Schedule

Collection Days are typically 5 days a week, unless otherwise noted by your community. Pickup times will vary by community. Place your trash outside your door two hours before pickup time on collection day. Once collected, return your empty trash bin by 9:00 AM the following morning.

2. Use Approved Trash Containers

Only use the bins provided by Xelda Company for your trash. These bins are designed to keep your waste secure and provide a consistent look throughout the community.

3. Securely Tie Bags

Ensure all trash bags are securely tied to prevent spills and odors. All trash must be bagged and tied inside a 13-gallon trash bag (grocery bags are not permitted). You are allowed up to two (2) trash bags per collection day. No loose trash inside the bin.

4. No Hazardous/Bulk Items

For the safety of both residents and valet technicians, please do not dispose of hazardous materials such as chemicals, needles, and furniture. These items require special disposal methods.

5. Recycling: Use Blue or Clear Bags 

In order for us to distinguish between trash and recycling, it's best to use blue or clear bags. You can also put a sticky note with the word "Recycling".
